I am home. It was a beautiful trip. Lots of one liners, fun people, sweet Peggy, and a terrible realization that I will never go places with Mike. How much in travel we did have in common. I will say one of his top two things to do would be to snorkel. We did that on our aniversary. Right at the time of when we got married, (he used to call me and say what were you doing 24 years ago) we saw a octopus. He would have just loved it. There were so many couples. I enjoyed watching them. Peggy and i both would take pictures for the couples. Sometimes I wanted to scream where in the heck is he.? Peggy is a wonderful traveling companion. I really like to just be with her. She was so tender to the thought of our aniversary. The night that was dinner with the captain she had dessert brought out with a candle and Happy Aniversary on it. There was a little boy that kept saying Happy Birthday, happy birthday. I was crying so I know he thought wow to be so old you cry. It was special for me. The whole trip was a time of grieving for me. The night before the last day of travel, I rolled off my shoes on a wet dance floor. Didn't fall, but I knew that I hurt my foot. It was perfect timing and was very grateful it had not happened the first night. I was in pain the next morning and went to the med place. A very primative place. Felt like this couldn't be where I am, sorta like you might be on a movie. when I asked the doctor if I should take the xrays, she said "Oh your doctor wouldn't be impressed with these. i wan't either. I broke maybe two bones and tore ligaments. It is so painful. I had to change my flight from Atlanta to Orlando. Peggy had to drive the 8 hours by herself. I was so glad we did. I wasn't going to and Peggy is the one who helped me get it done. After I saw the docotr today I was in terrible pain. I was so glad it had waited till I got home. Finally I got some pain medicine and am feeling much better. I have a boot and crutches. I can work in the boot so that is good. The last day was sitting out by the pool. (oh darn someone has to do it) Very hard to get around and they took my crutches away when we got off the ship. I layed in the parking lot waiting for the shuttle, and then crawled up the stairs. Peggy had to do so much. She was a great nurse. This trip was a blessing for her for sure. She has had a very big hear and a half and really needed the resting and rejuvinating.

Cococay island the first place we went to is owned by the cruise company. It was so incredible. We parasailed, breath taking. I was falling asleep in a palm tree by the end of the day. The next day was at Nassau. Peggy and I swam with the sting rays. (oh and when they say they don't bite, don't believe them, my index finger) It was a great morning, in the afternoon it was cool and we shopped. I wish I could show you all the pictures, even though most don't like looking at others vacation pictures. It was great to see Mollie and Samuel. I haven't gotten to see Michael and Todd yet. Todd has a game tomorrow at 1. I will get to see him. My underarms are sore from the crutches. I can tell my age, it seems like we are talking more and more of the hurts and sore places. Oh my foot, my back my neck is sore. It is bothersom.I had a great awakening of tenderness for people in wheel chairs that aren't going to get back up. It is so hard. At the airport, besides people irratated that you get to go firsst, I couldn't reach the pepper or the salt. The bathroom was a challenge for sure.

I came home more then 24 hours early so everything wasn't quite ready.(You know what I mean?) I didn't get

friends the Salgados. Very disappointing, I wan'ted to meet there little girl from China and see how grown the boys are getting. Forget Wanda and Mike it is about the kids. (kidding) My foot is hurting and I need to get off it. Silly girl, oh did I tell you that I danced after I hurt it? Had a beautiful evening with two other lady's we met. One of them her husband died 3 years ago. Had sweet talks.
