#1 in the State

What a whirl wind of a weekend. It was so fun, but very full. Mollie and four other kids and I went to Columbia to watch the Hight School team play in the top four. We won and it was so exciting. The kids were so fun, I enjoyed listening to them interact and I do enjoy their music. For that i am glad. We got home really late and i had the kids stay here for the night so I wouldn't have to take them home so late. I got up really early because Samuel had his four mini game tournament for lacrosse. It was in the 20's and the wind was bad. Samuel did well he scored two goals. I really like to watch them in whatever. I wore Mike's coveralls and felt pretty good. I am not taking the crutches, it is just too hard and I do well with the boot. I left thn to go to TOdd's game at Lindenwood. He had a great game, said he didn't hurt. I then came home to work till we left at 4:30 to go back to Columbia for the final game. All the kids wanted to go again. I really like the kids on this team. It couldn't have happened to a better group of boys. The game was so exciting. I just loved it. When they won I just cried and cried. I thought of how much Mike would have been going nuts. He would go and watch them even when he had such bad sores on his body. He loved to encourage them. My foot was a giant blessing. I got to park in the handicap. The kids thought taht was great. Some people said they walked forever to get from their parking places. Nope I parked right out front. Whoo. hoo. loved that.
Our congregation is looking for a new youth minister and one was trying out. By the time I got the kids to their homes after the game it was so late. Mollie and I just went to the lunch to meet him. I then went to the store with her and then to her Basketball banquet, it was very nice. I hope she was encouraged to play next year, maybe not so fearful of the coaches and other players. Seeing they had a good year. I got to dine with my friend Becky, was very relaxing. I am now back in the swing of getting things ready for the week. Mollie just walked in from Tabs the area youth group.
Enjoy the week. I bet school will be crazy. I think it is the second time in all the years that they have won. What a big deal for them. I let Samuel drive there with a friend, I am so glad he got to experience this his high school days. Michael comes back tomorrow. Todd has been working or lacrosse or school.
